Vidéotron is receiving $121 million in federal and provincial funding to carry excessive velocity web to 2 areas in Quebec.

The service will use the funding to carry connectivity to just about 13,000 households within the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nord-du-Québec areas by September 2022.

Funding for the mission is being supplied by the Canada-Quebec Operation High Speed initiative.
